NASAAG Students Start-Up Empowerment and Business Pitch Challenge

The NASAAG Students Start-Up Empowerment and Business Pitch Challenge is a transformative initiative designed to cultivate entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and business acumen among students. The program serves as a platform for young visionary and industrious students to showcase their start-up ideas, gain mentorship, and secure funding to launch or scale their businesses and enterprises. The students receive intensive training on Developing Skills, Business Ideation, and Development, including How to Raise Capital for Start-Up. These workshops equipped students with essential tools to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape, emphasizing creativity, resilience, and practical skills to build sustainable businesses.

This groundbreaking initiative was first piloted in two universities, the Ghana Communication Technology University in collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students on November 12, 2024 and the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) on October 30, 2024, in collaboration with the Department of Marketing.

The maiden edition rewarded the three students whose idea stood out impressively during pitch:

  • FixiMami (2nd Place). A group of two male and one female tech students. Rewarded with MiFi devices and a 3-month free internet package sponsored by Data Warehouse.
