About The Founder

Mr. Riffath-Yakub Abubakar holds pivotal roles in various organizations, showcasing his multifaceted expertise and dedication to youth empowerment and development. As the Executive Chairman of NASAAG and the Chief Planner of Third Star Limited, he plays instrumental roles in fostering growth and progress. Additionally, he serves as the Country Director of Project Know Thy Self International, Head of Business Development of Leonard Homes Limited, a Real Estate, Construction & Property Management Company. and the Executive Coordinator for The ELDERS Consult, Ghana.

Riffath is internationally recognized as a Youth Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Development Coach/Mentor and Trainer, as well as a Non-Profit/NGO Consultant, Educational & Corporate Event Consultant. He is renowned for his engaging public speaking and transformational messages. As a fervent youth development activist, Riffath channels his intellect and energy toward mentoring and empowering students and young individuals to embrace leadership, entrepreneurship, employability skills, and managerial competence. He goes beyond traditional academic qualifications, imparting attitudes, skills, and knowledge essential for thriving in today’s job market.

Since 2018, Riffath has spearheaded numerous regional and national events, including capacity-building summits, workshops, and career guidance sessions, impacting over 10,000 youth and students across Ghana and abroad. Noteworthy venues include the University of Plymouth-UK, RVS Institute of Management Studies and Research-India, University of Ghana, University of Education, Winneba, Islamic University College, Methodist University, Ghana, Valley View University, University of Media, Art and Communications, Ghana Communication Technology University, University of Professional Studies, Accra, Africa University College of Communications, Lakeside University College, Design & Technology Institute, and many more.

Riffath’s contributions have garnered international recognition. He was featured as the first Ghanaian in the “World Millennials Magazine 2021” by SHEHUB.TV in the United Kingdom. His significant contributions to student and youth development led to his recognition on the University of Education, Winneba’s website in 2021. Furthermore, he was nominated and emerged as a ‘Top Three Finalist’ in the “Founder of the Year 2021” category at the Founders of The Year Awards Africa, Kenya.

Riffath has also been invited as a guest speaker at various prestigious events, including the ‘Strategic Business Forum 2022. And the launch of Integrity Leaders of Change Ghana. Additionally, he has actively contributed to industry-based initiatives such as the launch of the “Knowledge Bank” by the Ghana India Trade Advisory Chamber – International Foundation and the Global Africa Trade Advisory Chamber in Accra, Ghana.

He has also played integral roles in coordinating events like the Ghana Youth Employment Agency (YEA) nationwide “Job, Career, and Entrepreneurship Fair 2021” under Novalle Consultancy and the Western and Central Regional Sensitization Workshop on Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AFCFTA) by GIZ and Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs. Riffath’s commitment is further evidenced by his involvement in planning and coordinating the “Young Entrepreneurs Summit & Expo” by the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs and consulting for events like the “Youth Explosion Conference” and the “Extraordinary Ladies Conference.”

  • Achieve drastic reduction in Graduate/youth unemployment (at of all levels of education).
  • Liaise with Government-Youth-Agencies, Ministries and NGOs for students entrepreneurship ecosystem improvement, student start-ups investment, Funding and study scholarship.

FUNDING & OPERATIONS

Currently the academy survives and operates on donor supports and sponsorships. The academy is intended to raise funds from ‘Internal Generated Fund (IGF)’, donors and sponsors to procure its operational working tools, equipment, and assets that can be commercialized to generate revenues for the academy, to manage or curd the hiring of exponential increasing items or equipment for operation. The academy has developed three (3) business modules/ideas to be implemented to generate funds for the sustainability of NASAAG, in order to manage dependency of supporters, donors.
