Empowering Students Through Enterprise and Vocational Skills.
On Thursday, 27th June 2024, the National Academy of Students’ Achievement Awards Ghana (NASAAG), in collaboration with the University of Ghana SRC, and Health Service Students Association successfully hosted the CRAFT-HIVE Workshop at the University of Ghana Business School – Legon. This impactful one-day beginner-training program brought together over 300 students (both male and female) to acquire valuable enterprise and vocational skills, preparing them for employment and entrepreneurial success.

A Transformative Learning Experience: The CRAFT-HIVE Workshop was designed to equip students with hands-on skills that align with industry demands and self-employment opportunities. The training covered four major areas:
Pomade and Body Cream/Oil Production:
Students learned how to create organic skincare products, equipping them with knowledge to start their own beauty and wellness businesses.

Beads Accessories & Jewellery Making: Participants explored the art of designing exquisite beads and jewellery, a skill that can be monetized both locally and internationally.

Makeup and Beauty Techniques : The workshop provided insights into professional makeup artistry, enabling students to tap into the booming beauty industry.

Crocheting: Attendees gained practical experience in crocheting, a timeless craft with growing demand in fashion and home décor.
